...the Domain is a required attribute for any of the Licenses. So, if you try to add a License to the basket without filling in the domain textbox, you will get a validation errror. It's a UI / Validation thing.
Actually, the problem I see is if Domain is NOT a required attribute... How is inventory ...

  • Re: Changing attributes after product is activated

Maybe this should get moved to a "design/feature request" thread, but here's a larger scale design proposal for attributes. Sorry for the long/detailed post, but my "day job" requires this kind of details ;) Besides, if they are written down, at least the design can be discussed. I agree with your assertion ...
The Is Required feature is working at http://www.dashcommerce.com
I'll try to look into this.... I'm using the repository version though, so it may be in flux... However... If I create a product with an attribute, and I DO NOT check the IS REQUIRED box, then go to SKU, click SAVE, I am ...

  • Re: Changing attributes after product is activated

OK, here's my suggestion, since I'm hitting this "feature" right now... I had created my db of products with no attributes, thinking I'll create it later... My mistake ;) I don't have a patch yet, but if I end up coding this I'll see about uploading it. The following assumes a product has already been ...

  • How do I create an internal link (using FCKEditor)

I'm predicting this will have to get promoted to a feature request, but... How do you create a link to an internal page in the editor (FCKEditor). Yes, I know, I can manually type in the page/destination page, including the website name. But if the page moves anywhere, the link is lost, and if I re-deploy to my production site, I have to go ...

  • Re: Autoreturn from PayPalStandardPaymentProvider returns to blank untitled page.

True, it does work today. But the reason for the error still stands. Paypal sent a badly formed message in its response, and dashCommerce doesn't handle it gracefully. I did some debugging, and in PayPalService.cs, line 292       StreamReader responseStream = new ...

I just thought I'd pipe in and say I am getting the exact same error. I was just testing that feature/functionality when I encountered the blank page, and searched here for other people's experience... and I guess I'm not alone!  I'll let you know if I do find some fix or correction...

  • Re: MettleSystems.Licensing.dll

And just a strong suggestion regarding open source and transparency... Don't include hidden code such as this. It's one thing to be up front and say "if you run our code, you will also be running our DLL that will provide branding and secret handshakes to allow dashCommerce to provide commercial plugins".  It's quite ...
so the Licensing assembly takes care to enforce the license
Um, perhaps I missed the fine print, but could you please point me to the pertinent license text that the DLL is protecting?
