When I add a product (no attributes) to the cart, the quantity drop-down appears but is blank. This, in turn, creates error when trying to update the cart or proceed to checkout.
Has anyone else had this problem or know of a solution?

Did you set the Quantity in the admin section to something greater then 0

The quantity in the admin section is set to 1000. When adding an item to the shopping cart, no matter what quantity you pick from the drop-down, it still shows an empty box on cart.aspx.

Was there ever a resolution for this issue? I'm currently experiencing the same behavior. No matter what my quantity selection is in the Add To Cart box is, the cart.aspx quantity is blank. However, the total calculation is correct....

Not seeing it but i dont use negative inventory anymore. Maybe a combination with require attribute , havingstock and using negative inventory.
