Images are costly since we have to pay for photographers and photo editors.

Crooks visiting our websites can easily access ~\Web\repository\product directory and effortlessly copy all the images, or they can right click on any image and save it on their PC.

Chris or anybody else, What do you suggest to protect our images from those thieves or at least make it  some what difficult for them?

You should have browsing off for that directory. So, if you do that, someone would have to work pretty hard to copy the images. The "Save As" option is always there unless you provide some JS to circumvent the right click menu, but if you do that, you might make some visitors mad. It all depends on who you are selling to. Presumably, your images are not as expensive as the product . . . but I don't know the specifics. BUT, I can say that this particular issue has never come up. More importantly, it's not a function of or implementation "bug" in dC.

 Its very simple to secure your pictures "watermark" them. Its simple to do and cheap. There is a lot of tools for batch watermarking pictures and the pictures are no longer of any value for the bandits. If a costumer download a picture he can always see where to get the product.
