I have added a new Product Item. But this item is not visible in Cart.aspx (Add Cart tab)

What are the pre-required operations/actions to display this item in Cart.aspx? 

Ahh - step-by-step instructions. I've put up a documentation project so that folks could help with documentation, but noone is submitting anything.

Make sure you save off the Sku for the product - you need to do that first. Once you have done that, make sure you add inventory or allow negative inventories.

Solution is

1) Product need to be assigned to any Prod. Category.  [  Click on Edit (of product)  goto category tab ]
