I'm truly impressed!
I'm building a store that will sell marine invertebrates that my client harvests from the ocean (therefore there are no manufacturers, or retail prices). Certain items will be sold singly, and in a package of 3 or 5 or 10, with different prices. I had already added a line in the first descriptor that was bold and red and announced that you could "Buy 3 and SAVE $5.98!" when I remembered that the Retail Price thingie built-in to dC provided that exact functionality. I had disabled that in Admin. But I also remembered that back in the day of 2.x, it was an All or Nothing choice (if my old brain serves correctly). Well, I decided to give it a try - entered the discounted price for the package of 3, then under Retail Price I placed the price if you bought three, one by one. Re-enabled it in Admin. Activated the product, expecting to see lots of "You Save $ 0.00 (0.00%)" on my products... and when I opened the site, lo and behold, it was SMART and only showed that discounted stuff IF there had been a Retail Price entered!
OMG! WOW!!! While it may seem like a small thing to some, it's a HUGE improvement and benefit to me. Thanks again to the Development Team!!!
