Hello There

Im getting the foolong error when I try to run the installation file.

Can anybodey help me on this please 

Please provide more info on your environment - is this local or a host - did you build it up first , etc.

 I have the same error. In my case, I run the web in local mode under Visual Web Developer 2005 Express

You need to setup the installation directory as an "application".  If you are using the default "Web" directory, then in the II6 admin the directory "Web" must be added as an application.
