    Hi,

     I a new to dashCommerce and ASP.NET/AJAX but not to WinForm .NET and SQL Server 2005.

    When running the install.aspx page and trying to connect with the user I created I get the following message (message center):

    A critical error has occurred: Timeout expired. The timeout period elapsed prior to completion of the operation or the server is not responding

    Altough in the database some tables are created (by the install process), stored procedures, a view...

    Can someone tell me when this timeout happens?

    Great, it works now - i just ran it a couple of times and then it completed Big Smile

     Is everything running on the same pc or do you have IIS server / SQL server  running.

    Everything is on the same PC (IIS, SS)

     got the same error here, does Remote query Timeout have anything to do with this? this is not a remote connection right. I mean running on the same machine...

    If it keeps on making problems you can try running the scripts directly

    (There in Web/install/scripts/ folder)
