    PayPal Settings

Maybe this has been answered before but I just can't find the answer.

I'm currently implementing a DashCommerce 3.3 RC install on my host

I compiled the source and uploaded and so far is working fine. I have two questions:

     A. -
How do I configure the PayPal settings if the "/admin/paymentselection.aspx" file is missing?
Where do I find the settings, I assume in a file?

    B. -
I will need to write my own payment gateway for Realex (www.Realex.ie). I assume this is possible to have both Paypal and Realex working side by side if required?

Also, I see alot mentioned about "WebReady" etc. Is this release stable? The reason I ask is so far I have encountered that file missing, is there more "bugs" that I need to know about?

Other than that, I love the software and the community are brilliant.

    Thanks for your help.

A.) Just find the redirect to paymentselection.aspx and comment it out. It's not there right now. B.) You can select a payment provider for dC. Running two would take some additional work on your part. C.) RC is a Release Candidate, so there are bugs. BUT - It's open source :)

    Re: PayPal Settings

Thanks for getting back to me so fast Chris.

I do realise to comment out the redirect BUT my question also was how to configure the PayPal settings in DC.
I know I need to setup a PayPal account, that is a given, I'm justwondering where do I enter my PayPal ID, Username etc?

As for B, essentially I can only have one payment provider active? That is not such a big deal really.

As for C, noted that it is a Release Candidate. Is it stable enough to use for production? I realise there are bugs as I have come across some already.
If I were to get the web ready commercial licence.. Is this basically this RC but debranded or is it a different version altogether?
Basically, I'm testing/building on this then will swap over, I just want to know will I have problems doing so.

    Re: PayPal Settings

Configuration -> Payment Configuration -> Configure Payment Providers then select which payment provider you want to configure.

There are a few bugs in there that are kicked some people's butt's, but the list isn't that long:

    1.) Installer issue

    2.) TaxRateId issue

    3.) paymentselection.aspx redirect

Those seem to be the doozies that are causing the most headaches. I expect to have the final release of dC 3.3 out by the end of November> No promises, but I'm usually good for my dates within a week or teo. Smile

With the dC 3.3 release, we swtiched to the MIT License, so you are free to rebrand as you like. It's our way (Mettle Systems) of saying thanks to the community for helping to make dC such a huge success Big Smile
