I can't complete the install because the "next" button is grayed out.  i'm running SQL 2008 which is prob. the issue.  has anyone received this error and how can i manually get past it.

I've got similar problem on this page. Next is greyed out and when I click Version test, I get this error "A critical error has occurred: Format of the initialization string does not conform to specification starting at index 0.". I'm running source code version, web version was ok. But I need the source code version, because I need to translate some stuff to Slovak and it seems to me that creating a new resource file in web version isn't enough, as there are some user controls which are just english

Same problem -- also SQL Server 2008. Trying to install 3.2 Final web version on IIS2008 (into virtual directory of existing site) / SQL Server 2008. Help?

It is an IQ test. A previous page asks to copy the generated connectionString into a file. I had not read the message properly, and just skipped that step!!! If you get this error, then start over and check out the page after you entered the database info. Cheers, EricT
