    Australian GST Tax Rates

Has anyone worked out a method of calculating GST tax for Australia.  We use 10% flat rate, however the product total price is shown inc GST then the tax line would show the GST component.

     Eg:

    Total Cost: $100.00

    GST: $9.09

    Regards,

    Paul

Someone has solved this. He called it VAT tax provider.

    Have a look here: http://dashcommerce.org/forums/t/460.aspx?PageIndex=1

Sorry for the inconvenience... We're having some technical issues from time to time... You must have visited our blog(z) right in the middle of ...

Regarding your need for GST provider please contact us at office @ computinglabs.ro. Soon we will analyse v3.2 of dashCommerce and eventually add new posts about VAT/GST tax provider for v3.2.

FYI, I am in the process of adding in your stuff for the next release. Big Smile It's not exactly the same, but the functionality for VAT will be in the next release. I am hoping for end of September, but it may bleed over into October - many irons in the fire on 3.NEXT.

No problem. It's not really for the purpose of GST but VAT. But there was other interesting stuff in the such as the "null payment" provider and especially the globalization stuff regarding currency. I would say adding this would give dashCommerce a big step forward.
