FAQ
Q.) Can you give me a simple explanation of the dashCommerce License?
A.) The relevant portion of the license is here:
"To the extent the Software contains the dashCommerce name, trademark, brand and / or the dashCommerce logo, any copy, modification, merger, publication, distribution or equivalent use of the Software shall retain any such names, trademarks, brand and / or logos intact and plainly visible."
So, you cannot take out the "Powered by dashCommerce" language in the footer or the dashCommerce logo on the administration side of the site without a commercial license, which removes these restrictions for the site.
Q.) How do I get started?
A.) Once you have downloaded the file, unzip it and you will find a ReadMe.txt and a ReleaseNotes.txt. These will give you a running start on installing the product.
Q.) How do I report bugs, issues, or suggest enhancements to the product?
A.) Head on over to CodePlex and use the Issue Tracker to report bugs, issues and suggest enhancements. Please be sure to specify what version and what language you are using.
Q.) How do I contribute code to the project?
A.) You can submit patches using the funtionality built into TortoiseSVN. Once you create the patch, upload it to CodePlex.
Q.) How do I get on the dashCommerce Core Team?
A.) It’s good to hear you would like to be involved and contribute to the project! In order to be on the core team you have to be active in the forums, provide good guidance to other form members and exhibit a consistent level of involvement with the project over a period of time. In addition, you must also submit four (4) patches that are accepted by the project.
Q.) How do I become a Forum Moderator?
A.) It's pretty much the same as above, but you don't have to submit the patches. :) A consistent level of involvement in the community and a history of providing good guidance to the community.
Q.) WooHoo! I made it on the dashCommerce Core Team, now what do I do?
A.) In a few words, conistently contribute ideas and code to the project. We all have ideas and we would all like things to be a certain way, but at the end of the day, to get your idea off the ground, you have to contribute code.
Q.) How do I get the nightly builds?

Q.) Where is the Documentation?

This solution relies on DocProject, so make sure you have it and all the prerequisites installed.
